To know
V-Force Scientific Fighting Concepts’s history
you would have to know about the Chief Instructor & founder Tommy DiLallo.
Tommy DiLallo started off his Martial Arts career at 8 years of age with Go Ju. I guess at
this time growing up with Kung Fu Theatre it put some type of warrior mentality
into his head. After that time, Tommy went on to the ever so popular Tae Kwon
Do kick (No Pun Intended), and then High School wrestling.
After
High School, he then joined the United States Marine Corps. Then 2 years
later he would be called to serve 2 tours in the Gulf under Operation Desert
Shield and Storm. After the Gulf War this intrigued him to study a lot closer to what the military was being trained and how he
can implement it into his own style of self-defense combat.
During Desert Storm military
Infantry units relied
heavily on close air support or artillery and our own weapons and small arms
training, that’s about it. Yes, we went through very basic hand-to-hand
techniques that have not been updated since World War 2 and we were facing a
very different battle than in those days. Though today there is more emphasis on
more advanced hand-to-hand combat tactics it is still not accurate or effective. For
all those "special forces" guys out there reading this, I take NOTHING away from
your training, and hold you with high respect but I think it would be a good
idea to experience my system. The heart to fight or challenge doesn't mean you
are going to win. It's anyone's game, anytime and any day.
So after Desert Storm he went on a crusade to find the end all of
all martial arts systems. This led him to styles such as: Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu,
Kempo, Sambo, Mixed Martial Arts,
JKD, American Combatives, Silat, Systema, Krav Maga, just
to name a few, and started to get more perspective on combatives and how it can
be used by everyone, including military and law enforcement personnel.
The beauty about those systems
was that they all had something to offer, but the bad thing about it was that the
techniques that could have been used in a combat situation were only available in
small doses, and only used from certain pre-set circumstances and scenarios.
Traveling further into the
martial arts and self defense community Tommy found something very close to what
he was looking for: (Wing Tzun Kung Fu), In which he was an instructor
under Grandmaster Leung Ting and Sifu Emin Boztepe. Here was a system that
had the best footwork, open hand, close combat he had ever seen, It had
sensitivity training, ground combat, street defenses, sparring, and weapons
training so effective, it humbled Tommy were he stood. This is not to be
confused with Wing Chun, Yes ! THEY
are different.
Tommy believed in Wing Tzun so
much that he founded his own system on its principles. However it
is FAR from WIng Tsjun in whole, where they stop or do not commit and do not
include into there system, WE DO! It also includes a
hybrid of a number of other self-defense systems techniques, movements, and sequences in
which Tommy has experienced or trained.
Tommy founded V-Force Scientific Fighting Concepts in 2001 and did not realize that the effect and
impact it would have on his already committed students and the martial arts
community in general...Tommy now study's and is being certified in a number of
other systems and trains in various combatives seminars and workshops.
If V-Force Scientific
Fighting Concepts were
taught to all Free Military Units around the world today, close combat would
have a more feared ring to our enemies, and it would make them second guess on
having a hand-to-hand combat encounter with a soldier who has been trained in
V-Force Scientific Fighting Concepts.
So what do you have to lose?
Actually if you ever encounter a violent street altercation, a lot….!
But V-Force Scientific Fighting Concepts asks you
”
what do you have to gain?”
and that is the question you have to ask yourself ,
but our answer is……a lot! |
